DAY 1

  • Hotel Novotel Paris Saint Denis Stade Basilique or similar in Paris
  • Arrival – Night-time transfer to the Montmartre neighborhood. Funicular ride (included).    

Welcome to Paris! On arrival at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. Free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informatice panels in the hotel reception area. At the end of the evening, we provide transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. This neighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cab­arets… Sit down to dinner and enjoy a magical night. You can choose between Indian, Chinese, French and American cuisines. We will ascend by funicular to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. Return to hotel.

DAY 2

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit to the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. At sunset transfer to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic center where you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to the hotel. 

Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday).

DAY 3

Free time in the City of Light:

We go to the centre of Paris, to the area of the Louvre Museum. Free time. If you wish we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. Rest of the day free.

It will be offered for travelers who are interested, an optional excursion to enjoy in Eurodisney. 

DAY 4

  • Paris – Noyers – Beaune – Lyon

We travel to the center of France to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. A stop in Noyers, a small medieval town classified amongst the prettiest places in France. After this we will visit Beaune in the center of the Bourgogne region where its streets full of flowers, its hospice, and its wine museum can be reminders of your trip. Time for lunch. Lyon – Arrival mid-afternoon – to the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhone, its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site. Free time.

DAY 5

  • Lyon – Geneva – Castle Chillon – Gruyere- Gstaad

We have a beautiful stage. We travel to Switzerland. Geneva, arrival. A city located by the Lake Leman which hosts the European headquarters of the United Nations. You can stroll through the old city or know any of its museums. Then we will go on to Chillon Castle, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We continue to the picturesque walled town of Gruyere, known worldwide for its cheese. Very nearby are some of the main Swiss chocolate factories (Nestle amongst them), we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a chance to try some too! Continuing along small roads amidst beautiful mountains and picturesque wooden villages. Arrival in the pretty Gstaad with its wooden houses.

DAY 6

  • Gstaad – Grindelwald – Meiringen – Chiasso

Entrance to Aareschlucht Gorge. Today´s journey has fascinating mountain scenery. We passed Interlaken and we outline its beautiful lake. Arrival to Grindelwald where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald First. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the “footbridge over the empty” among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that, we continue to Meringen and the spectacular Aaresschlucht Gorge (entrance included). Then we enter the region of Switzerland where the official language is Italian. Accommodation in Chiasso, a Swiss city on the Italian border

DAY  7

  • Dinner Included in Lucerne
  • Chiasso – Lugano – Burglen – Altdorf – Lucerne

Visit the village that was made famous through William Tell.  We will know Lugano the cosmopolitan capital of Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake. Time to stroll.  We continue and on the highway, we crossed St. Gotthard Pass. We stop in Burglen, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. If you want, you can also visit the museum of William Tell. In the neighboring city of Altdorf, we can also find traces of his history. Continue to Lucerne, free time to explore this beautiful city by the lake that bears its name.

DAY 8

We leave Lucerne driving along the Four Cantons Lake towards Einsiedeln, its immense baroque abbey is the most important pilgrimage center in Switzerland. After that, we continue towards the East of Switzerland. Maienfeld is the village which inspired Heidi’s story. A walk in its historic center after which we will be visiting Heidi’s House (Ticket not included. Entry to the facility is free), a picturesque place with beautiful landscapes that we will reach through a pedestrian path. Then we enter into the independent country of Liechtenstein, and its capital city Vaduz with its impressive castle. Time to stroll and have lunch. Subsequently, we go to the neighbor city of Feldkirch, in Austria, located next to the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany: a charming walled city with a genuine historic city center and a castle. Free time.

DAY 9

  • Feldkirch – St. Gallen – Constance – Stein am Rhein – Rhine Waterfalls – Zurich

We start our day heading to St. Gallen, whose center is part of the World Heritage List by UNESCO with a wonderful cathedral and its historic center. Afterwards, we will continue by Constance Lake, between Germany and Switzerland. We will have time for a walk at Constance’s center before visiting Mainau Island (access by a pedestrian bridge) with its stunning botanic garden (entry included). Then, again in Switzerland, we will take a stroll in Stein Am Rhein, a typical village on the Rhine River with precious houses with painted walls. We will also visit Rhine Waterfalls (entry included), the waterfalls with the most abundant flow in Europe. Arrival in Zurich at the end of the day. 

DAY 10

  • Zurich- Rapperswill- Zurich

With our guide, we will make a tour of Zurich, the most populated city of Switzerland, and the country’s financial and cultural capital. The city of the banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this, we will include a cruise of almost two hours on Lake Zürich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to see the villages on the way. We get off in Rapperswill, a picturesque little village overlooked by its medieval castle. We go back to Zurich by train and appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways.   

Note: Depending on the number of travelers, on this stage, the transfers to the center and from the station may be made on public transport
